Macro Lens is a financial publication. It collects the minimum data needed to deliver the newsletter, bill members, and understand which pages are read — nothing more. This page explains exactly what that means in plain English.

What we collect

The data

How we use it

Usage

We use this data only to run the publication: to deliver the brief, to provide and bill member features, to answer your messages, and to see which writing is worth continuing. We do not use it for automated decision-making about you, and we do not sell, rent, or trade reader data to anyone, ever.

Cookies

Cookies & local storage

We use only the cookies and browser storage required for the site to function — keeping you signed in, remembering that you dismissed a notice, and the anonymous measurement described above. We do not set third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third parties

Who processes data for us

A small set of vendors process data strictly to run the service — hosting and analytics (Vercel), payments (Stripe), email delivery, and our subscriber database. Each acts under its own privacy terms and only on our instructions.

The Macro Lens Publisher LinkedIn application accesses only our own publication’s LinkedIn page data (to post and read engagement on content we publish); it does not access your personal LinkedIn account or connections.

Your choices

Access & deletion

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in any email, manage or cancel a paid subscription from Manage subscription, or ask us to delete the data we hold about you. To make any request, just contact the founder.
